Hi, I'm Dion.

I've been writing software for over ten years, from native iOS and Mac apps to Go and PHP backends. I like owning the whole thing: what to build, how it's put together, and keeping it running after launch.

Day to day that means full-stack setups like Next and React or Nuxt and Vue, Node.js and Express on the server, and React Native for mobile apps. Swift and SwiftUI cover native Apple work, and I've built a lot in Go and PHP too, with PostgreSQL, MySQL and AWS underneath.

Work

    Co-Founder and CTO

A research platform and social network for shareholders, across web, backend and mobile. It later grew into Diyfolio, portfolio optimisation for DIY investors, and RoboRente, a retirement planner.
